The Stromatholite series 1-2-3 project was developed during the artist residency at SxV MOMA (SxV Museum Of Modern Art) in China. It revolves around a study of living textiles - algae fiber - plastic: the edible world, and was exhibited during the exhibition From Me to You, International Contemporary Art Exhibition, Virtual offline Gallery show: Spazio Cava and Projet HHH: City finding so Tokyo.

In my project, I draw inspiration from ancestral practices and nature to rethink our connection with images and illusions. Using my smartphone, I capture fragments of everyday life, transforming ephemeral moments into vi- sual and emotional narratives. These experiences lead me to experiment with materials such as edible plastic, inspired by stromatolites and the healing properties of stalactites, to explore the possibilities of merging the biological with the digital. My goal is to reimagine our urban environment by integrating elements of nature and the past to question our perception and interaction with the surrounding world. This creative process reflects a search for meaning through the accumulation of images, the creation of illusions, and the rediscovery of primal connections with our environment.

« Every day, we are bombarded by thousands of images, and when we zoom into the details, what flows is a warm stream of pixels and desires. By grinding these ‘images’ into powder, mixing them with warm water, and cooking them on a low heat. By creating (images) to ma- nufacture (illusions)... This could be one of the many experiments of accumula- tion, with algae, light, and images. The accumulation of algae, actions, glances, daily images, momentary emotions, consumption, di- gestion, and accumulation again. »
